"A Warning About Niva Bupa Insurance Think twice before buying a health policy from Niva Bupa. My husband and I trusted them during a difficult time and were left heartbroken. Last year, both of us had typhoid and serious stomach issues. My husband had a constant fever of 103–104°F and needed hospitalization. Yet Niva Bupa denied our claim multiple times—even questioning why we admitted him. What else should we have done—sit at home and watch things get worse? They didn’t even cover several diagnostic tests we submitted valid bills for. We ended up paying ₹1.3 lakh out of pocket, which we’ve been paying through EMIs. Meanwhile, I ignored my own health while caring for him. By the time he recovered, my condition had worsened, and I had to return to my hometown for treatment, taking 15 days off work. After rejecting our claim twice through the hospital, we still tried again—hoping they'd support us. This time, a representative from Niva Bupa visited my husband’s office, gave us false assurance, and made him fill out lengthy forms. Later, they asked us to visit their own office, where they took the original hospital papers and kept delaying things for over a month. After all that drama and wasted time, they rejected the claim again. Living in a city like Noida made this entire ordeal mentally, physically, and financially exhausting. Niva Bupa failed us when we needed them the most. Their promises mean nothing when it really counts. Never trust this fake company. Fake Niva Bupa Insurance. And the worst part? Despite all this, they still had the audacity to call us again through another agent to buy their policy - as if nothing happened. BEWARE BEFORE TRUSTING NIVA BUPA HEALTH INSURANCE."

"Niva Bupa is a big fraud British Insurance Company in India… please do not buy Niva Bupa insurance… they Promote their CASHLESS INSURANCE which is a big SCAM and they hardly approve claim when needed the most. A Sr. Citizen Woman who is having a running health policy >10 years, was operated for a spine surgery NivaBupa, after giving initial pre-approval for the surgery, following all due diligence of all information, medical reports by the doctors and documentation! But shockingly, after the surgery, on the day of discharge from hospital, when the claim was submitted by the Hospital, after making the 68 yrs old Sr Citizen female patient wait for >8 hours, the insurance claim was REJECTED. At a time when a helpless patient can’t do anything and can’t extend stay as well to prevent extra charges… this is a Modus-operandi of Niva Bupa. Shockingly, just 2 months back, NivaBupa had approved medical claim for the same disease when bill was ₹45000. But when the patient had undergone a surgery, as a follow up of the same disease for which her claim was passed earlier just 2-3 months back, this time the surgery expense was around ₹500000/ ,& hence the insurance claim was rejected by @nivaBupa. The reasons for rejection was based on falsified and wrong information submitted by their ‘INVESTIGATION OFFICER’ who is a ruse / ploy by Niva Bupa to create false information so as to Reject Claims especially if the surgery involves heavy Hosp bills!! Niva Bupa is most IMMORAL, INHUMAN, and has unfair practices to CHEAT THE PEOPLE OF INDIA when they need the insurance most. We do not pay hefty premiums to these FRAUD Health insurance COMPANIES to cheat us and leave us uncared for when the insurance is needed the most… PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR NIVA BUPA.. and They will use all dirty, filthy tactic… to cheat people… Niva Bupa - a British Comapny -is a Big SCAM in India.. This is what you get when you buy a Health Insurance from a British Company. NivaBupa never care for your loved ones, it didn’t ensure Health or Happiness, but rather it will bring Death- Psychological Death, to one’s loving parents.. They deliberately DID NOT APPROVE CLAIM EVEN WHEN POLICY IS 10 YEARS running policY!! Niva Bupa team especially look for soft targets like Sr. Citizens and other.. in India atleast, they are BIGGEST FRAUDULENT INSURANCE COMPANY.!Immoral, inhumane, Fraud… NIVA BUPA ( formerly Max Bupa Health Insurance) IS A BIG FRAUD AND A SCAM IN INDIA BY A BRITISH COMPANY. Strongly advise to go for Indian companies like LIC Insurance, SBI Insurance, ICICI, HDFC.. but never go for NIVA BUPA!"
